↧RL / FIELD NOTES
Rules and terminology / Desk review
Cascading reels replace eligible symbols after a winning evaluation and check the resulting grid again under the game’s rules. A sequence can therefore contain several evaluations after one starting action, with some feature state carried forward. The name does not tell you every removal condition, charging rule or stopping rule; those belong to the identified product’s official documentation.
↗ ≡RL / FIELD NOTES
Rules and terminology / Desk review
A slot paytable explains which symbol arrangements qualify and how awards are expressed under the stated rules. Read its conditions, special-symbol exceptions and bet basis before interpreting an amount; then check the document version and any separate feature rules. A short product-page badge is not a substitute for that complete explanation.
↗ ↔RL / FIELD NOTES
Rules and terminology / Desk review
Paylines define specified paths through a grid, while ways-to-win rules commonly count eligible matching positions across adjacent reels. The number printed beside either label is not a win probability or a return percentage. To understand a paytable, read the matching direction, minimum combination and active configuration before interpreting the count.
